Belit has signed a contract for the development of an energy efficiency database which will store survey data, calculate energy efficiency indicators and provide required reporting for the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia.
This project is executed under Preparation of the Second Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP) and Development of Energy Indicators (SEEAP), funded by the European Union, represented by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia.
The overall objective of the SEEAP project is to assist Serbia, specifically Ministry of Mining and Energy of Republic of Serbia (MME) in the successful implementation of the Energy Community Treaty requirements on energy efficiency. The purpose of the SEEAP project is to supplement the energy balance sheet with data on energy consumption for each end-use sector (residential, services, industry, transport and agriculture) by providing end-use energy data and top down indicators for the proper identification and evaluation of measures that will increase energy efficiency, thus resulting in a reduction in energy consumption.
