City4Age – Elderly-friendly City services for active and healthy ageing, European projects funded in the frame of the H2020 program, has started. Project will last 30 months.
City4Age project aims at enabling Ambient Assisted Cities or Age-friendly Cities, where the urban communities of elderly people living in Smart Cities are provided with a range of ICT tools and services that, in a completely unobtrusive manner, will improve the early detection of risks related to cognitive impairments and frailty while they are at home or in the move within the city.
In the consortium of the City4Age, along with Belit, are 15 more partners. Project entails 6 test-beds – Athens, Birmingham, Lecce, Madrid, Montpellier, and Singapore.
Belit will coordinate activities in WP5: Real-time Data Analytics and Health Risk Detection, will deploy the core centralized Big Data Analytics Platform (BDAP), implement the algorithms for risk prediction and assessment on BDAP, as well as adapt and extend the targeted e-testing tool for additional verification support and improvement of BDAP.
