City4Age – Elderly-friendly City services for active and healthy ageing project proposal has been successfully approved by the European Commission. This is the second Horizon2020 project in which Belit participates as a partner.
City4Age will enable Ambient Assisted Cities or Age-friendly Cities to help elderly people deal with mild cognitive impairment or frailty, so they can maintain their independence for longer. A range of unobtrusive ICT tools and services will be developed to improve the early detection of risks related to cognitive impairments and frailty of elderly people, whether they are at home or on the move within the city. The City4Age project will also facilitate the role of social and health services, as well as the role of family and caregivers.
