RENERGY Award was presented at RENEXPO, Europe’s largest trade fare on renewables. The prize is awarded for distinguished accomplishments in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Members of the jury were Mr. Dušan Jović – Senior Advisor in Directorate of Forests in Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management in Serbia, Mr. Vojislav Milijić – President of Serbian Biomass Association (SerBio), Mr. Lutz Jarczynski – Energy Efficiency Advisor in Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and Mrs. Myriam Dobrota – Director of REECO SRB d.o.o. company.
Our first year’s winners who took the prize in category Innovative Technologies, showed an impressive engagement for renewables and energy efficiency innovations.
Innovative Technologies award went to the team of DMS – National Data Management System on energy efficiency: innovation, new processes and application of modern technology. The system was developed under the joint guidance of the Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Ministry of Mining and Energy, City of Belgrade, Faculty of Architecture in University of Belgrade, Chamber of Engineers, Software Company Belit, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Gmbh and others. The system consists of two modules:
1) The National Registry of Passports to collect and analyses the data coming from the energy passports and the building stock analysis – this module was presented and officially launched on RENEXPO® Western Balkans.
2) Monitoring and verification platform for implemented measures in energy efficiency – finalizing moment.
