This March is the International Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month, and on the additional occasion of the International Women’s Day, the EU-funded joint BRAINTEASER research project supports and wants to celebrate all the women who are fighting with this neurodegenerative disease. According to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and observations from several recent population studies, multiple sclerosis affects women more often than men.
