The article titled „A New Interactive Tool to Visualize and Analyze COVID-19 Data: The PERISCOPE Atlas“, published in the IJERPH Special Issue „The COVID-19 Pandemic: Reshaping Public Health Policy Response Envisioning Health as a Common Good“ on August 12th 2022 – https://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/19/15/9136 – provides a broad overview and description of the complete integrated PERISCOPE Data Atlas first release, from data sources, ingestion and fusion, through the solution architecture and semantic integration in the context of overall PERISCOPE concepts and connected sub-systems, to supported processes and interactive workflows, UI/UX, and a concluding discussion and insight into future upcoming developments.
Authors are from all PERISCOPE partner organizations with key participation in Atlas and Work Package 4 developments, led by the Project Coordinator University of Pavia, and involving also the Technical University of Munich (TUM) School of Governance, Universidad Politècnica de Madrid, GeneGIS Geospatial Intelligence Srl, and Belit with contributions on the developed software, workflows and UI design, and resource management and data curation.
