Web portal was developed – providing access to medical data to all providers of health services in cardiologic sector – scientists, doctors, representatives of the pharmaceutical industry and medical equipment, insurance companies, as well as patients and healthy population. The exchange of important medical information in electronic form (electronic patient cards) has been implemented, as well as CardioNet analysis database for personal use, fully within the legal, professional and ethical framework and standards. It enabled institutions, companies and other representatives of the Serbian health care system to cooperate and achieve their professional goals.

This project settled a framework for close cooperation between medicine, technical sciences and other areas of biomedical engineering, telemedicine, e-business in health and related fields.
